Our Story

Three Generations, One Honest Promise

Solid wood, fair prices, and word of honour — the way furniture used to be made, the way it should still be made.

Where We Started

A Small Workshop in Tiniali Bazar, 1998

Our grandfather, Late Shri Gunaram Bora, started this shop in 1998 with two carpenters and a small wooden bench under a tin roof. He believed one thing — that a furniture shop should be remembered for what it sells, not what it promises.

Twenty five years later, that bench is still in our showroom. We have grown — fifteen artisans, a 4,000 sq.ft. shop, deliveries reaching Hojai, Lumding, Diphu, and even the hills — but the way we work has not changed.

We still source teak and sheesham directly from licensed depots. We still polish by hand. And every piece that leaves our shop carries the same five-year written warranty Gunaram-da used to give on a paper slip.

How We Work

From Wood Log to Your Home

Every piece passes through five careful steps. No shortcuts. That is why our furniture lasts a generation, not a season.

01

Wood Selection

We hand-pick aged teak, sheesham, and oak from licensed depots in Assam and the North East. No cracks, no compromise.

02

Seasoning & Drying

Wood is seasoned for 30+ days before cutting. This prevents warping in our humid Assamese summers.

03

Hand Crafting

Our master artisans cut, joint, and shape every piece by hand. Mortise-and-tenon joints — no nails for structure.

04

Finishing & Polish

Three coats of polish, hand-rubbed between each. You choose: natural, walnut stain, white wash, or custom paint.

05

Quality Check

Every piece is inspected by our manager before it leaves the shop. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.

06

Delivery & Setup

We deliver, assemble, place, and clean up. We don't leave until you are happy with everything.

What We Stand For

Our Word, Our Wood, Our Way

Honest Pricing

One price for everyone. No fake "discounts" on inflated MRP — what you see is what you pay.

Real Wood

If we say teak, it is teak. If we say sheesham, it is sheesham. We invite you to inspect before payment.

Local First

We hire and train local Assamese craftsmen. Every order keeps our community working.
